British Airways i360 is the ultimate beachfront venue in Brighton; with flexible event spaces, unique features and a futuristic observation tower designed by Marks Barfield Architects, creators of the London Eye. Your guests will glide up gently to 450 feet in a futuristic glass viewing pod to enjoy the breath-taking panoramic 360° views. The giant glass viewing pod can be hired either as part of your event or exclusively, for receptions for up to 175 people. It has a Nyetimber Sky Bar, sound system and video screens. Guests can enjoy a glass of Nyetimber sparkling wine, a canapé reception or even a full banquet on board. The beachside event rooms are located in a separate suite and some have their own private terraces overlooking the beach.

The Bombay Sapphire Distillery in Whitchurch, Hampshire, sits in a leafy conservation area, just 60 miles from London and 15 miles from Winchester. The site dates back to 10th century; but was most notably a Victorian paper mill, which produced all the banknote paper for the Bank of England and the British Empire. The distillery is the first ever refurbishment project and distillery to achieve a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating for sustainability due to its innovative sustainable design, and showcases the iconic Heatherwick Studio-designed glasshouses which house examples of all ten of the botanicals which make Bombay Sapphire gin so exquisite. The Glasshouses have been built to rise out of the crystal clear River Test which runs right through the middle of the venue.

11th century castle built to protect the South!

Guildford Castle | Guildford, Surrey

Hold your next meeting or event in a 11th century castle in the heart of the bustling town of Guildford.  This unique space was created in 2003/2004  when the Great Tower was conserved and the original crenellations and other features were discovered. A roof and floor were reinstated at first floor level creating a unique space for small meetings and events.  Available for conferences of 10 to 60 offering stunning views in landscaped gardens in the heart of the town.  This medieval castle built shortly after the Norman conquest contains a model of the original castle c1300 and interpretation panels tracing the tower's history to the present day.

Southampton City Art Gallery is situated in the Art Deco Civic Centre, a short distance from Southampton central train station. The Art Gallery has a collection of more than 5,300 works of art and exhibitions are changed on a regular basis. The collection contains works by famous artists including J.M.W. Turner, Claude Monet and Edward Burne-Jones. The core, however, is British twentieth century and contemporary art. The Gallery can accommodate 475 delegates throughout the entire space, or 300 for a standing reception in the Grand Hall. Our internal caterers can provide drinks, canapes and cold food. The Gallery is also a beautiful setting for live music, weddings or performances. Our exquisite paintings and sculptures provide the perfect backdrop for wedding couples and corporate clients seeking a unique venue within the city centre. The focus of The D-Day Story is the liberation of Europe from Nazi Germany occupation. It is told using the personal possessions and words of the people who took part. Stunning imagery, audio-visual presentations and hands-on interactives help to bring the story to life. Based on ordinary people working together to achieve the extraordinary, The D-Day Story features the experiences of men, women and children.

 

The story is told in three parts, Preparation, D-Day and the Battle of Normandy, Legacy and the Overlord Embroidery. There are three main areas available to use for an event in the D-Day Story for 50-300 guests. The Deck: a large open space with doors to both ends and views from the rear to Southsea Castle. The Briefing Room: a circular room with integrated projector & screen. The Overlord Embroidery – a circular space around the impressive embroidery.

Kent Life Heritage Farm Park | Sandling, Maidstone

Kent Life offers very some interesting venue spaces amongst the orchards, hop gardens and oast houses, which are available for your guests to explore.  The 28 acre setting offers some great opportunities for team building such as tractor and ferret racing.  There is excellent car parking and is close to the M20.  The Village Hall can seat up to 75 people and the Wagon Store up to 70 theatre style.  Excellent catering can be provided from barbecues to buffets and banquets.
