Travelling to Sussex

If you're driving

  • Sussex can be reached by taking the M23 or M20 motorway from London.

  • To reach Brighton, take the M23 southbound and exit at junction 11.

  • The journey time may vary depending on traffic conditions, so it's a good idea to check ahead and plan accordingly.
     

Reaching Sussex by rail:

  1. Take the train from Victoria station in London to get to Sussex. This is the main station serving the area.

  2. If you're going to Brighton, it takes just 50 minutes to get there from London.

  3. Other options include taking the train from Portsmouth to Chichester (30 minutes), Canterbury to Hastings (90 minutes), or Woking to Crawley (1 hour).
