The Mount Vineyard - the perfect summer party venue in the Kentish countryside

The Mount Vineyard started producing wines in 2008 and subsequently opened its doors to guests in 2016. The estate now boasts multiple spaces, perfect for any occasion, whether it's a summer party or a corporate away day. The 104 acre estate with 10 acres under vine is home to the Courtyard Bar, Restaurant & outside Wine Deck, Wine Loft, Oak Terrace, Orchard, Flint Bar & Tipi and Ten Acres Shop.

The Courtyard Bar & Restaurant boasts a fully retractable roof offering a unique space for a corporate summer reception. Available on a Wednesday and Thursday evening all year round, guests can enjoy fine wines and freshly prepared canapés, buffets of local award-winning cheeses and charcuterie, seasonal salads and delectable small plates. The Mount aims to showcase the best of local produce in all they offer.

The Oak Terrace, perfectly positioned between the orchard and meadow, also boasts a fully retractable roof and sides ensuring guests can enjoy their beautiful surroundings. This al-fresco venue is available on Wednesdays and Thursdays between May and September for corporate away days. Guests are typically welcomed at midday with a glass of Mount Vineyard sparkling wine before settling down to enjoy a private wine tasting. The Mount's Head of Wine will guide guests through a 4 wine tasting providing tasting notes on each wine and commentary on wine making at The Mount in the broader context of the growing English wine industry. The tasting concludes with a stroll through the vines with your last glass in hand before returning to The Oak Terrace for a sharing meal of small plates, stone-baked pizzas and seasonal salads followed by freshly baked sweet treats. Guests are invited to continue enjoying The Mount's own wines or alternatively, select from their range of English and international wines or cocktails.

The Mount's sister enterprise, The award-winning Samuel Palmer, is a beautifully converted 15th century pub, just a 5 minute stroll from The Mount. Here guests can stay overnight in one of the luxury boutique rooms or choose to continue the afternoon with further drinks and food.

The Mount Vineyard boasts free on-site parking and a boutique shop which offers Mount Vineyard wines, local produce and artisan gifts. There are numerous circular walks around the local area for those wishing to further explore the beautiful Kentish countryside.
