How to get to Oxfordshire

Trains to Oxford from London - just 1 hour

Great Western Railway runs a direct service from London Paddington stopping at Didcot, Oxford and north through the county stopping at Long Hanborough, Finstock, Charlbury, Ascott-under-Wychwood.


Chiltern Railway runs a direct services from London Marylebone with stops at Princess Risborough, Haddenham & Thame, Bicester Village, Islip,
Oxford Parkway and Oxford station. 

From London Heathrow and Gatwick airports 

A  24 hour coach service runs directly to Oxford 7 days a week.  Oxford’s Gloucester Green can be reached from Heathrow within 90 minutes. Journey times from Gatwick are within 2.5hours.  


Park & Ride

Oxfords Park and Ride system is well established with five Park and Ride car parks located on the outskirts of Oxford with frequent onward bus journeys into the city centre. Park and Ride.

Charney Manor Conference and Retreat Centre

Set in the Heart of the Oxfordshire Countryside, Charney Manor offers an attractive rural setting, spacious grounds and a unique atmosphere, which makes it an ideal venue for Day Conferences, away-days, meetings and Residential Retreats.

We have two large beautiful and historic meeting rooms.  The Solar, accommodating 30 people and the Barn, accommodating 45 people with wheel chair access.  There are also three smaller meeting rooms that can be used as break out rooms.
