In the heart of Guildford and close to the mainline railway station and Bedford Road Car Park, the Electric Theatre has three bright and contemporary spaces of varying sizes available for hire.  The auditorium can accommodate up to 180 people theatre-style and hire includes a Duty Technician, ushers and use of two dressing rooms.  Alternatively the seating can be retracted to provide a banqueting space for up to 100 people seated.  The venue is ideal for shows, lectures, presentations or private dining events, along with music videos and networking events. 

Merrist Wood Events & Meetings

Up to 60 delegates | 7 Spaces | 400 acre estate

Located three miles outside of Guildford, Merrist Wood Events & Meetings is part of Merrist Wood College.  With a range of meeting & event spaces organisers can choose from the historic Colebrook Room or Hankinson Room both located in the main Merrist Wood House.  Welcoming up to 30 delegates these spaces offer stunning views over the 400 acre estate.  Hourly hire rates available.  The Animal Management Centre is perfect for animal themed events, with its dedicated classrooms & lecture theatres, plus fantastic Animal Encounter experiences.  These include tours, adult keeper days, animal birthday parties and Meet the Meerkats experiences, which can be provided as part of your day.  The 400-acre estate is also available to hire for weddings, corporate events, festivals etc, along with field parking for up to 2000 cars.
